Wedding photographers take thousands upon thousands of photos in a season. Not surprisingly, we get lots of outtakes … and lots of those are of ourselves. This blog post is one of my favorites of the year because it shows how hard we work and also how unglamorous this job can be. We don't take ourselves too seriously around here. :)

This might be my favorite moment from 2014. That time I scoped out a location and then found a dumpster in front of it when it was time to shoot. I moved that dumpster, you guys. Thanks to Jeni for capturing the proof.

While I was off shooting my own wedding at the beginning of August, my husband, Nathan, and his assistant, Matt, got to partake in the fun of Jingsi and Rob's Club at Hillbrook wedding. They ran a super fun live photobooth, and I have to say, these photos are some of my favorite photobooth photos EVER. (How many times can I say "photo" in one sentence?) Looking through these photos, I felt like I was there! And I'm really jealous that I missed the talented balloon artist, Balloon Bender Dave. How AWESOME are his creations?
So hilariously creative. You cannot do THAT in an enclosed photobooth!
