What a fun session! The S family met me at Hinckley Lake on a gorgeous June evening, and we basically played for the entire session. Nathan kept everyone laughing with his jokes, Nolan kept everyone on their toes as he really just wanted to practice his running and Allyson kept track of Nolan, as any good big sister would. I think my favorite picture out of the whole bunch is the photobomb picture at the end. All three kids have an awesome sense of humor to say the least. And mom and dad are pretty good sports too. :)
Ethan | 1 Year
We woke up bright and early for Ethan's one-year photos, and it was so worth it. Just look at that lovely early morning light. Ethan was all smiles at his big photo session, and I can't help but think he had a premonition about the delicious donut he was about to eat … for the very first time. :) Check it out ...
Hinckley Lake is beautiful first thing in the morning.
Ohhh, I love this one. Kristen absolutely adores Ethan. She's such a good mom!
Come ON. How cute is this kid??
Ethan had never had sweets before this donut smash ...
He didn't actually get to the donut but icing is the best part anyways, right?
Cleveland Art Museum Family Photos
Sometimes you meet people by chance and it turns into a beautiful experience. I met Kauser when I volunteered with Literary Lots, a really cool project all about bringing the magic of ready to vacant, urban spaces. (Read lots more here.) This lady is brilliant, and I can't wait to volunteer for her again this year.
And as luck would have it, that little volunteer project of mine led me to this lifestyle shoot with Kauser's family. This is the definition of a lifestyle family session. I had so much fun running around Wade Oval with Aidan and Jinan and their mom (Kauser) and grandma … letting them be exactly who they are. Aidan is quiet and contemplative, while Jinan is energetic and silly. I hope these photos showcase who they are at this point in their life. I, personally, love them!
Film Mini Shoot #4 | Baby Wyatt
Oh, Baby Wyatt. Your face is so serious but your hair is so silly. Really, though, his hair is awesome, right? I'm so grateful I met Jeanna and Brian last year and have gotten to keep up with Baby Wyatt since he's been born. What a sweet, little boy.
I'm loving these indoor film photos … something a little different for me and something I hope to keep up!
