Baby Jeffrey | Newborn

Baby Jeffrey was, hands down, the most cooperative newborn I've ever photographed. I usually get pretty lucky with babies' temperaments, but this little guys was awake the whole time and didn't make a peep! He was just content to be held or observe everyone in the room when it was his turn to be photographed solo.

Jeffrey's parents, Matt and Jen, are great friends of Nathan's and mine, and it was so special to get a peek into their little family's first few days. They make it look so easy! :)

Matt needs a "World's Greatest Dad" T-shirt. He is SO good with Jeffrey!

Jen, this makes my heart melt. You are such a good mom!

Baby Miles | Newborn

I have never met a cuter redheaded newborn. :) Miles was just under a week old when he debuted as a model. Seriously, this baby was awake nearly the WHOLE time I was photographing him. He knows how to work the cameras ... probably because his mom is a photographer too! I loved having the chance to see Leah and Matt in their element as new parents. Miles is one lucky baby!

Favorite! This one melts my heart. :)

Baby Vincent | Newborn

This little guy has technically been on the blog before ... remember this session? He was in his mama's belly then! :)

I was so honored when Lindsay asked me to do Baby Vincent's newborn photos. I know how important it is for their family to stay connected while Ben is away serving our country, and I hope I accurately captured their baby and family life. This little guy is only five days old here and slept right through his brother and sister playing on the bed while I took photos!

Enjoy this glimpse into his first few days of life ...

Baby Owen | Newborn

Meet two of my best friends and their brand-new baby boy Owen. Nicole and I became really good friends freshman year at Miami when we would run down the hall to each other's dorm rooms. It was our tradition to spend lunch watching A Wedding Story (remember that show?!) trying to imagine actually being married. Now here we are, and she and Kelby have a beautiful baby! Nicole and Kelby are gentle, patient, laid back, and have a fabulous sense of humor. These two are already great parents and I'm so excited to watch Owen grow in their house. You three are the best!

He was just loungin'. :)
