Nathan and I are so thankful to have friends going through this stage of life with us. David and Amy live down the street from us and go to our church, and they just recently welcomed their first baby into the world too!

Elly was long awaited and is so, so loved. Photographing this family of three was incredibly touching and made me ready to meet Nolan!

Cleveland Museum of Art Maternity Photos

If this family looks familiar it's because they've been on the blog just a few times (here, here, here and here!). Gosh, I LOVE getting to know my clients. These three just became four when they welcomed sweet little Vivi into the world a couple weeks ago. We fit this maternity session in just before her arrival (how amazing does Jeanna look?!) and made sure to hop inside the art museum for some photos because it was rather chilly. In case you can't tell with all that snow. Jeanna, Brian and Wyatt had their game faces on!

Cleveland Newborn PhotographerAbout 10 minutes into this session, I had already made a best friend out of Baby Billy's big sister, Brynn, and I was smitten with little Billy (William Francis to be exact). He was the chillest little guy and stayed awake, staring at the camera, the entire session! He was such a good sport … being coddled by Brynn, being swaddled and un-swaddled. It would be exhausting for anyone, let alone an 8-day-old baby.

My very favorite thing about photographing little Billy was watching his big sister coo and fuss over him. She's a natural at the whole big sister thing! Take a look ...

Cincinnati Lifestyle Newborn Photos^^^ Baby yawns get me every time. Especially when they're from a baby of reallllly good friends. Our dear friends Nicole and Kelby had another beautiful baby boy, Mr. Beckett! (See baby #1 here.) He is really smiley (now at four months) and so laid back. This little guy was along for the ride during his newborn shoot, even when his big brother, Owen, wasn't quite so sure about all the commotion in his home. :)
