I met Amy and Tim at sunrise in the most picturesque town. Chagrin Falls has this American charm and small-town feel that we knew would pair perfectly with engagement photos. These two laughed their way through our morning together and we caught up on wedding planning, potential honeymoon trips, their high-energy dogs, and our favorite things about Cleveland. Amy and Tim tie the knot in three months (THREE, you guys)!
We're having a little #tbt (that's "Throwback Thursday" for all you hashtag newbies) on the blog today! Liz and John's fall engagement session is full of so many beautiful colors and warm sunshine that I almost forgot it's currently 12 degrees outside. It's OK though. I love each and every season for what they are, and these photos are just making me feel fondly for fall (helloooo alliteration!)
I can't get enough of these two, and I'm already counting the days until their August wedding!
Zoe was a perfect lady for each and every one of her photos. She has such a great temperament, and I kinda wanted to take her home with me so she and Rosie could be friends. :)
Sarah and Jon are THE sweetest people ever. They have this quiet relationship that you just know is super strong. Sarah says that her favorite thing about Jon is that he puts her before himself, but just from observing them a few times, I would say that's mutual.
"We are pretty big homebodies, but it's because we would much rather be around only each other and have each other to ourselves," she said. "Most people get sick of each other after spending every possible moment together, but we love it."
See what I mean?
You guys, thank you for having me as your wedding photographer. It was a huge honor and I'm so thankful I got to witness the beginning of your marriage. The best to you both.
The lovely Lindsay London beautified Sarah even more.
Sarah had ceremony shoes and reception shoes!
Get this: Because Sarah and Jon had a small wedding, they handmade each and every invitation ... and each of them was different!
Lookin' good, Jon!
It was supposed to rain all day, but it was actually warm and sunny! I'll take it.
Sarah MADE that cute cake topper!
And after lunch ... we had more portrait time! :)

Sarah and Jon are two of the sweetest people I've ever met. When I asked Jon if he was nervous for the ceremony he said he was only nervous that it wouldn't go exactly right for Sarah. :) I had a blast shooting this intimate, fall wedding at the Club at Hillbrook ... definitely a new favorite venue! Until next week, here are some of my favorites:
