Rebecca & Kyle | Columbia Ballroom WeddingAugust 21, 2014
Rebecca’s a dancer. Kyle’s a musician. Rebecca’s 4’11”. Kyle is … tall. They met while teaching their passions at a local high school, and Rebecca likes to say she “danced to the beat of his drums.” Haha, that girl is the cutest. And she has the BEST facial expressions and a contagious personality.
“I love how Rebecca is always up for any crazy ideas I have,” Kyle said, obviously agreeing with me on how great Rebecca is. “She’s also ready to solve any problem that comes our way. She is my other half and my best friend.”
Kyle isn’t bad himself. For one, he loves cats. (Yes, that makes him my new best friend.) And he would do ANYTHING for Rebecca.
“When I’m with Kyle he always seem to fill the moments with laughter,” Rebecca said. “Kyle pushes me to believe in myself and he truly is my best friend. I love the way he makes me feel when I am with him and how the simple moments in our relationship are the ones I cherish the most.”
Oh, you guys. Thanks a million for inviting me to document your big day. Everything was incredibly beautiful, and you two made Markie and I feel so welcome! I can’t wait to keep up with the additions to your cat family!

Rachel & Pat | Voinovich Park Cleveland Engagement SessionAugust 18, 2014
Rachel and Pat lived 10 minutes from each other in Cleveland but had to go all the way to Louisville, Ky., to meet. They were both attending the Kentucky Derby with mutual friends, and they said they don’t know that they ever would have met back home. Crazy how life works sometimes, right?
These two are the real deal. I was crossing my fingers that they would book as soon as they left our first meeting! Rachel and Pat are so nice and funny and enjoy each other’s company no matter what they’re doing. Rachel was sweet enough to e-mail me after their engagement session thanking me for such a great time and giving them a date night. This girl is so selfless. Really, they made the session so fun for me and that is why I love this job. I get to work with unbelievable people that I would probably never get the chance to meet otherwise. Life is definitely full of beautiful surprises!
Tracey & Joe | Cleveland City Hall Rotunda WeddingAugust 14, 2014
Tracey and Joe are some of the most genuine people I’ve ever met. Their families are some of the kindest people. And their friends had some of the sweetest things to say about all of the above. I can’t believe I get to surround myself with such positive, happy people every weekend. I count my blessings every week.
These two met during a ski trip, and while Joe made a good first impression on Tracey, she initially thought he’d be perfect for her best friend. It didn’t take Tracey long to realize that Joe was a good catch.
“Joe cares so much about others and is always willing to make sure everyone else is accommodated before he worries about himself,” she said. “I love his generosity.”
It’s pretty fitting these two met on a ski trip because Joe’s favorite thing about Tracey is her sense of adventure.
“Tracey approaches every day looking to find something new and interesting to do,” he said. “Whether it’s travel, new restaurants, new bars or places to take a walk, Tracey is always looking to find our next adventure.”
Tracey and Joe, I can’t imagine a better couple to have spent my June 28 with. Thank you so much for inviting me into your lives and sharing your wedding day with me!
The girls started the day at Tracey’s parent’s house and toasted to the soon-to-be married couple with mimosas made by Tracey’s dad, Mark. I have to give a shout out to Mark as he was one of the sweetest, most welcoming dads I’ve ever worked with!
